Dear (Mr. Rex, Mr. Rovtar, Mr. Cook, Mrs. McMasters, Mrs. Anglin, Dr. Ebbrecht, )
(Who were you before EOS) Before I came to EOS, I was describe in your own words your attitude toward teachers, learning, and doing school work. Describe your effort. Describe your attendance. Describe your discipline record (if this was a problem.)
(What do you remember about the Family Meeting) I remember feeling afraid and excited at the same time during the Family Meeting. Describe what you thought of the building. Describe what you thought of the expectations of EOS. Describe your feelings--did you think, “Yea I can do this” or “Man, this is gonna be easy” or something else?????
(How have you changed and who here made the difference in your life?) I have earned 7 credits and passed my courses with grades of A, B, and C. Describe in your own words your attitude toward teachers, learning, and doing school work NOW. Describe your effort NOW. Describe your attendance NOW Describe your discipline record (if this was a problem--now.)
(Repeat the thank you) Thank you for taking a risk on me. I am preparing to do what? Graduate on time? Graduate with a diploma? In your own words, be personal. What is one thing you’ll always remember about your experience at EOS?
Respectfully,
Sydney Backrow

The Letter of Complaint
A letter of complain should be written following the same guidelines as any other business letter. In addition, it is very important to include all the essential information surrounding the complaint so the that the appropriate action can be taken by the reader.
1. Begin your letter with a brief description of the product or service, including the BRAND name, MODEL number, and WHERE, and WHEN you bought the product.
2. Also include a description of just what the problem is, when you first noticed it, and what you think may be thecause of the problem.
3. If you have already tried to resolve the problem, explain what you did and what the result of that action was. Include the names of those people you talked to about the problem.
4. Finally, suggest what action you would like the reader to take to SOLVE THE PROBLEM.

Dear Sir:
Three months ago I purchased a model Z25 Telmar color TV from the ACE Television Store in Racine. The floor model I looked at was impressive. Because of the clarity and lifelike color of its picture, I was sold on the idea of buying a Telmar product. However, the TV delivered to my home has developed a major problem. The picture, although just as clear and beautiful as the one I saw at the store, now appears upside-down.
I have not moved, dropped, or abused the television set, and it is still under the free service and parts warranty. Unfortunately though, ACE Television Store has gone out of business. I have not been able to find any other store in my area that sells or services Telmar televisions, and so I am writing to you for help.
Please let me know how I can get this problem with my TV fixed. Aside from the upside-down picture, I am very happy with the Telmar television. I would be pleased with either a new replacement TV or a good repair job.
Sincerely,
Ralph Bittner
